The Alden Girls Varisty Tennis team just wrapped up an amazing, 8-0 season. Even though the girls put in a ton of hard work this season there is always something to improve upon. We asked some of the underclassmen what their goals are for next season.

After closing up the season, the girls tennis team shared their goals with us for next year. We took some of the girls out to the courts to get answers and find out how they plan to improve.

“This tennis season was super great, said junior captain Ava Dimao. “We ended up winning the division which is awesome. First time for a lot of the girls on the team and our first time for coach so overall it was a really good season.”

Fellow junior Taylor LaVarnway echoed Dimao by letting us know how she could improve. “I wanna improve my serve and get some top spin on the balls,” she said.

Congratulations to the girls on their undefeated season. We can’t wait to see how they improve next year!
