May 16th, 2017 is the Board of Education election. Will you be there?

The candidates for this election are Michael Karpie and Richard Karalus.

Mr. Karpie has been a resident of Alden for 40 years. He has been apart of many committees that benefit the community greatly. Karpie is the father of two sons that are proud graduates of Alden Schools. Mr. Karpie just finished his first term as a Board member, and has had the pleasure to represent the residents of Alden. He has also gained knowledge at workshops that helped him serve as in informed Board member while attending three State Board Conferences. Since, he is the only Board member who is retired it allows him to go to important daytime committee meetings if needed. During the his first term, he had pleasure representing the Board on multiple committees. Karpie is looking forward to continuing his time of the Board of Education.
