Carly Hopcia
I am a senior at Alden High School. I have lived in Alden my entire life. Since 7th grade, I have participated in sports including Volleyball, Basketball, and Cheerleading. When I got to high school, I started on JV for volleyball and then proceeded onto Varsity. I played up until my junior year. My junior year of volleyball, our team was very successful, I thought. We won one of our tournaments, which was a pretty cool thing for us. Senior year, I am now a Varsity cheerleader. I am one of the captains for the team. The other captains are Jordan Lorenc and Mekenna Walter. So far the team is looking great! We always look forward to Friday night football games and love to cheer the football boys on. I think we will have a great season. I started working at Franks Grille my junior year in June and I am currently still working there. My future plans are to get into the college I desire. Right now I am looking at Niagara University, Oswego University, Gannon University, etc. I am very excited for the future, I can't wait for what it holds for me.
