Teacher’s Christmas Recipes & Traditions

Ashton Wilson, Sports Reporter

With the Holidays right around the corner, it’s time to dust off the old Christmas family recipes and see what people will literally bring to the table. Not many people think teachers have time for christmas because they are busy teaching the students, but they also take the time to celebrate christmas. The teachers also have christmas recipes that they have to share that they use for their family dinners on christmas. I spoke with some of the teachers to ask them what their most favored family recipe is. Some of the teachers did not want to share their super secret recipes but others were willing to share it for us to see what their christmas dinners look like around their house hold. Many of the students don’t think of the teachers when the holiday season comes around, they are just so focused on getting out of school. Although they think this, teachers also have Christmas meals and celebration just like the students at Alden. The teachers of Alden have been alive longer than the students at Alden High School, therefore there may be many unique and unfamiliar recipes. The teachers at Alden also had some recipes that are out of the ordinary and just flat out odd. Although they may be our out of the ordinary, I could imagine that they taste pretty good and their family is grateful for the meal that they have been provided. When it comes to recipes for any holiday season, there are unique ones that certain families provide. That being said every family has their ways of making holiday meals and what they use for Christmas. This is all about what the teachers at Alden High School bring to the table for their families this holiday season.
