The Alden Central School District is accepting applications for a tuition-free universal pre-kindergarten (UPK) program for the 2019-2020 school year. 54 is the total maximum # of students for the UPK program. The district’s UPK provider is located at 11197 Broadway in the Alden Primary School building.

Important Dates:

• December 3rd- February 1st – Applications will be accepted.
• January 16th – Open House 6pm to 7pm at the Primary School
  (This is open to anyone interested in learning more about the UPK Program. Children are welcome to attend.)
• February 2 – Application Deadline
• February 8 – Lottery Drawing
• March 2019 – Letters will be sent out notifying families if their child has been accepted into the program or placed on the waiting list.
• August 2019 – UPK Screening to be held (date to be determined).
