Freshmen vs. Seniors: Warring Perspectives on the AHS Experience
This school year has already been wacky for all of us AHS students, and seniors are taking a look back at all of their high school expectations and experiences.
While the seniors reminisce in their freshman year, the freshmen are just beginning to adjust to the craziness of high school. I spoke with both classes to get a better understanding of the parallels between freshman and senior year, and to hear each class’ perspectives on high school.
I spoke to a handful of seniors to hear what their first thoughts and experiences of high school were and what they had to say about it, and for some reason, the silly answers I got didn’t surprise me.
“So, I’m not gonna name names, but a senior boy chucked a carton of chocolate milk at my shoes and stained them,” said by AHS senior, Caleigh Hoerner. This was just one of the many funny things our AHS students had to say about high school.
