Alden High School’s play this year is Rick Elice’s Peter and The Starcatcher. Last spring the cast of Shrek had new incoming directors Ethan and Kate Schrodt. This fall, the cast of the play has more new incoming directors.

Over the past few years AHS’ theater department has gone through a couple different directors. This year is no different, the department has three brand new directors Mason Brody, Colin Dabkowski, and Chris Kelly taking on the challenge of directing the play.

New director Chris Kelly says this about his goal for the production, “I think about what is happening now, and how can I challenge the students and the audience to embrace and experience a different type of storytelling than they’re used to?”
