The Bulldog Express is a program run by Mrs. Marko along with her students. The program provides breakfast to the teachers and staff of Alden High School.

The students learn real business experiences through the Bulldog Express from AHS teachers and staff, including lessons on handling money and selling items.

I spoke with Mrs. Marko and one of her hardworking students about what Bulldog Express is and their favorite parts of the new student-run business venture.

Mrs. Marko explained that Bulldog Express delivers breakfast items to the staff and works in conjunction with the high school PTO. All of the revenue goes to the PTO which then in return goes to student scholarships.

Mrs. Marko said her favorite part of the project is providing life skills and experiences for her students.

Carissa Congdon, a major student contributor to the Bulldog Express, said delivering to Mr. Casillo was her favorite part of her Friday morning run.

Thanks to the faculty and the district office, the Bulldog Express is off and running and hoping to thrive in the future.
