Senior Sendoff: Winter Sports

With the end of the winter sports season comes another round of seniors that must say goodbye to the sports and teams they love. As we know at Alden, students, administrators and the community as a whole all come together to show a real love for sports. However, with this being said, every year we must say goodbye to another group of seniors.

When asked what his thoughts were after the last game, senior Walker Wrest said: “You think back about it on things you could’ve done to maybe get a little better, you think about the little things more.”

This really shows that you need to cherish the moments that you have and make the most of them. It shows the fact that sports really have an emotional connection with you.

“Freshman year before practice we all went to the Alden park and we had a big snowball fight.” said senior swimmer Tyler Kersten when asked what his favorite memory from his career was.

Thank you to all the seniors and everyone in the community that make sports in Alden so special.
