In the Halls: Ready for Fall #2

Happy fall y’all! To kick off this fun-filled season I decided to get in the halls and see if students really are … ready for fall.

I figured now would be the perfect time to film this video since classic fall activities are starting up and spooky season is right around the corner. Fall might just be the most eagerly anticipated season, as people are brimming with excitement over the colorful leaves and abundance of festive activities. Between the Great Pumpkin Farm, Darien Lake’s Fright Fest, and the Cider Mill’s delicious donuts, Western New Yorkers are extremely excited for the season to begin. I interviewed high school students from all grade levels to ensure a variety of responses and quality entertainment.

As the halls fill with busy students trying to get to class, some stopped and shared their views on these popular fall topics. Kids were asked basic fall questions: Are you carving pumpkins this year? What day did fall begin? How much did the biggest pumpkin pie that ever existed weigh? And the most important of all … have you had a pumpkin spice latte yet this year?

“You betcha!” replied sophomore, Gwen Krieb, in response the the last question.

The quick responses make it clear to see what the most popular seasonal drink is, as well as the top choices for Thanksgiving dinner. Will anyone be having pumpkin pie this year? Does anyone even like Punkins?

If you’re looking for the current buzz on high school fall favorites, you’ve come to the right place!
