The art of meditation requires you to slow down, be present, and resist judging the thoughts that come to mind. Most commonly, meditation is done by sitting or lying down with your eyes closed, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t other approaches to achieving a meditative state, such as art therapy.
“Art makes me forget about all the stressy stuff in my life,” said junior Shealinn Camp.
Basic meditation doesn’t work for everyone. It can sometimes make people uncomfortable. So, sit back and relax to see if this type of meditation works for you.
