Have you bought this year’s one-of-a-kind yearbook yet? If not, what are you waiting for? This year at Alden High School the kids in the yearbook took it to the next level. They work before school starts at 8:05 am to publish the book of the year.
To help get more done in a short amount of time, the yearbook members decided to make yearbook a class. Making yearbook a class gave students more focused time to work on the book that will be published in the spring of this school year.
“I am very lucky,” said new yearbook advisor Mr. Cox about his role and the opportunity to work with these dedicated students. “They take their job seriously.”
The students in the class work hard and make it easy for Mr. Cox. They are focused but still have a lot of fun with the book by picking a theme and basing the whole book around it.
“We just want it to be really fun, lots of pictures like a big collection of moments,” said senior Yearbook President Ava Dimao.
