With Thanksgiving just around the corner, WACS students and staff took to the halls to reflect on the holiday. Through lighthearted trivia and moments of gratitude, the video captured the festive spirit of the season.
Some struggled with historical questions, like the name of the ship that brought the Pilgrims to North America. While guesses ranged from flowers to abstract ideas, a few nailed the correct answer: the Mayflower. Others tackled turkey trivia, trying to guess how many feathers a turkey has or how fast it can run. The answers might not have been exact, but they added plenty of humor to the day.
When it came to gratitude, responses were just as varied. Many expressed appreciation for family, pets, and the joy of good food. A few looked forward to classic Thanksgiving traditions, like football and the chance to sleep in during the break. Practical holiday perks like cozy new sweatpants also made the list.
The Thanksgiving in the Halls video is a reminder of what makes this time of year special. From sharing laughs to reflecting on what matters most, WACS brought the community together to celebrate the season with warmth and cheer.
