Athletes of the Week: Carissa Congdon & Robbie Westmiller
This week’s spotlight shines on two outstanding athletes who’ve shown tremendous dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
Carissa Congdon – Unified Bowling
Unified Bowling would like to recognize Carissa Congdon as this week’s Athlete of the Week. She has consistently given her best effort and has built strong connections with her teammates. Over the years, she’s shown incredible growth, with personal bests this season including high games of 85 and 90. Her recent “strike-a-palooza” is just one example of her impressive bowling skills. Beyond her athleticism, Carissa’s wit and charm make her a valued member of the team. Congratulations on your continued success!

Robbie Westmiller – Varsity Boys Basketball
Senior Robbie Westmiller is being honored as this week’s Athlete of the Week for his resilience and outstanding performance on the court. Despite a broken leg that sidelined him for much of the season, Robbie has made a remarkable return. In his 12 games back, he’s averaged 5.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. In a tough loss to Akron, Robbie added four points, five rebounds, and one assist, contributing to the team in more ways than one. His determination and perseverance have been a true inspiration. Congratulations, Robbie, for your incredible comeback!
– Matt Moretti III, Varsity Boys Basketball Coach
Congratulations to both Carissa and Robbie for their exceptional performances and the positive energy they bring to their teams!
