The JK Show started with a festive new episode hosted by Jess and Kaitlin, delivering holiday fun, student interaction, and important school news. The hosts kicked off the episode by welcoming viewers and previewing a lineup full of laughs, nostalgia, and seasonal cheer.
The first segment featured Christmas Trivia in the Halls, where the hosts tested students’ holiday knowledge. Questions ranged from classic Christmas movies to fun seasonal facts. Students were asked where Kevin’s family travels in Home Alone (Paris), which reindeer shares a name with a Valentine’s symbol (Cupid), and how many French hens appear in The Twelve Days of Christmas (three). One surprising fact revealed during the segment was that Alabama was the first U.S. state to officially recognize Christmas as a holiday.
Next, the show traveled back in time with a Throwback Trends segment, reviving the popular Whisper Challenge. Students attempted to lip-read holiday phrases, resulting in plenty of confusion, creative guesses, and laughs. From “milk and cookies for Santa” to classic Christmas sayings like “merry and bright” and “the stockings were hung by the chimney with care,” the challenge brought chaos and entertainment as participants tried—and often failed—to decode the phrases correctly.
The episode wrapped up with an important announcement regarding the Class of 2027 Popcorn Fundraiser. Viewers were encouraged to support the junior class by purchasing popcorn, with all proceeds going toward class activities. A wide variety of flavors were highlighted, including buttery caramel, cheesy cheddar, jalapeño, Chicago-style, birthday cake, dill pickle ranch, cookies and cream, and movie theater butter.
Jess and Kaitlin closed out the show by thanking viewers for tuning in and teasing the next episode. With holiday trivia, throwback fun, and school spirit, this episode of The JK Show delivered festive entertainment from start to finish.
This is JK—out.
