Ms. Pletscher and Mrs. Landers Kindergarten students had a very creative way to thank our local veterans this Thanksgiving. Delaney Keppner sat down with some of their students to talk about their work! Check out the video!

I think it’s important to educate young children about people that have served in the war and this was a good way to do it. Even though they are only in kindergarten. They still understood why they were making a project for these people who might not get as much recognition as they deserve, and they might not know that at the time, but it really does mean a lot to the veterans. This should be continued not only with the first graders but throughout grades K-12.

It is very nice that the teachers and students are showing their appreciation towards our veterans. Also that they made arts and crafts which are awesome!! Very heartwarming guys!
