#AldensNiceList
December 1, 2015
ALDEN, NY – The staff and advisors of Alden High School’s Online Publishing class, also known as WACS News, are proud to reveal their first annual social media initiative in the spirit of the holidays: #AldensNiceList – The goal of this hashtag is to share and promote the many kind acts witnessed throughout the Alden school community throughout the holiday season via social media.
To utilize this hashtag and take part in all the fun, Tweet an act of kindness that you have witnessed by tagging WACS News (@WACSNews) with the hashtag #AldensNiceList along with it. Alternatively, you can tag us on Facebook (WACS News) and also use the hashtag. Your tweets and Facebook posts will immediately be seen by us and will be pasted onto our official Nice List banner in the High School!
We encourage all teachers and staff to take advantage of this movement and to share it with their students. We look forward to seeing the acts of kindness that have taken place in the Alden community and to spreading holiday cheer!
