Boys Tennis Preview
March 30, 2016
Today the Varsity Boys Tennis team will kick off their season with a home match against Akron. While talking to Mr. Turton about his team this year he stated “I have an outstanding team this year”. A lot of the people are returning from last year to help out the team. They are a very young team with only 2 seniors. First singles player and captain returning from last year is Tim Turr. Tim is expected to lead the team in first singles and hopefully lead them to a championship. At first doubles are Christian Frank and Taylor Grad while the spots on second doubles are still being contested. The level of competition and depth on the team will make the team stronger. As the team practices together each day they start improving their skills. The boys will be taking on larger schools this year like Lancaster and Clarence, which will give them a good challenge. Other key players include Trevor Lezynski, Nick King, Dylan Keiner and Everett Gilbert. Coach Turton also hopes to further the teams technical and form skills. Coach would also like to give a special thank you to Coach Steve Insinna who volunteers and spreads his wealth of knowledge and passion for the game.

Evan – Thanks for showcasing our team. Nice job.
I am thankful that Trevor mentioned some important aspects of the team that I neglected to discuss.
I am very proud of this team.
