Revovations 2014: High School Locker Rooms
September 26, 2016
Both of the high school locker rooms have been significantly updated and renovated. Both rooms were completely taken apart and later constructed into a more suitable and appropriate environment. There had been many issues addressed and taken into consideration in this process of remodeling. Some of the issues dealt with supervision and safety. Max Gucinski explained the upgrades last year in a special report.
To solve these issues, the middle aisles of lockers have been taken out and replaced with benches, and more lockers have been added around the surrounding walls. Windows also have been added to the teacher offices for better supervision of the students. Before the renovations, the floor tiles had been chipped, the lockers had been vandalized, bent, and broken, also the ceilings and lightning needed to be updated. All of the lockers have been redone, a rubber floor has been added for comfort, and the lighting has been restored. The locker rooms have been modernized and have solved the issues in hopes to make the years to come more safe and practical when using the locker rooms.
