Let’s Have Brunch
February 10, 2017
On February 4th, Alden High School’s Theater Club hosted a special “Be Our Guest” Brunch in preparation for their production of Disney’s Beauty And The Beast. For only $10 you were able to take part in a pancake and french toast brunch with characters Mrs.Potts and Chip, as well a variety of activities with other characters through the auditorium wings. Activities included having a dance party with Lumiere and Cogsworth, playing games with Gaston and Lefou(A fan favorite), story time with Belle and Maurice, as well as arts and crafts activities with Babette and Madame de la Grande Bouche. You were as well able to interact and take photos with your favorite characters! Within the first hour more than 200 breakfasts were served and had an overall amazing outcome! An outstanding brunch calls for an even more outstanding show! Show times will be at 7pm on February 9th,10th, and 11th, with a matinee at 2pm in the High School auditorium. So come out, be our guest and support our theater program and young actors! All of the cast and crew members have put in sufficient amounts of time and work making this one of Alden High School’s best productions yet!

It was amazing how the younger kids were able to meet their favorite characters and interact with the activities hosted by those characters.

The brunch seemed like fun. 10 dollars for a breakfast and activities was a good price for an enjoyable time. I thought it was cool how kids got to meet up with their favorite characters from Beauty and the Beast!
