This week in Brookertainment we have news about two exciting topics to talk about that I’m sure everyone has used at one point or another… emojis and Netflix.  

There are 239 new emojis coming to your iPhone including gender neutral characters, a woman with a headscarf, bearded men, and some magical creatures like mermaids, wizards, vampires, and zombies.  In the “faces” category there will be new expressions you’ll be able to show such as, laughing into your hand, shushing, raising an eyebrow and many more.  As for animals, a zebra, a giraffe, a T. Rex, a hedgehog, and more join the mix.  And lastly for food, you’ll now be able to use a fortune cookie, a coconut, or a broccoli emoji whenever your heart desires.  And for all you people who own a Samsung don’t you worry, the Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with 646 new emojis!

As for everyone’s ideal way of binge watching their favorite shows, Netflix has some new things coming and leaving in April.  Netflix got rid of famous movies like the classic, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, The Princess Bride, and five different Superman movies.  There’s also many shows that left such as, Bones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and The X-Files.  All these films left April 1st so you wan’t have time to binge watch them but don’t despair, Netflix has many exciting new titles coming this month to fill the void.  Some famous titles like, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Gremlins, and Scooby Doo were all added on the 1st.  The animated movie, The Secret Life of Pets, will be coming on April 22nd.  As for Netflix Originals, 20 new shows and movies, created by Netflix itself, will be added throughout the month so make sure you go check them out!
