We have an author in our midst as we turn our focus over to the Alden School Districts Middle School. I spoke with Mrs. Stoldt and Mrs. Tryka about an unique eighth grade student and author Sara Wilde. Sara is this weeks Sensational Student and has gone above and beyond this week.

As an eighth grader it is an honor to get a 100 on a test or be the smartest in your class but, being able to call yourself a public author is an entire different ball game. Sara has achieved her goal of writing, editing, and finally publishing her own fantasy book. Divine Chaos is a fantasy book involving a nomad girl named Sapphire that is in charge of saving the world. Sara’s book is available on Amazon.com in paperback for $8.99. Sara told us she ran in to some troubles while writing the book. When it comes to writing a book there are many steps required to make it complete. While writing Sara noticed this, she says that it began to be hard knowing how much work this task would be. Also trying to think of what conflicts go where troubled her, but its obvious she overcame these troubles as her book is now published. Sara said that the book came to her naturally. The ideas she wrote about were flowing after reading the Percy Jackson series which inspired her newest creation.

Overall Sara is an exceptional and sensational student. Its an amazing accomplishment being a public author and, it will be great to see if other younger students will be inspired by her and create their own masterpiece. Congratulations to Sara Wilde on being this weeks Sensational Student. Keep up the great work Sara.
