This weeks nominee for “Player Spotlight” is Emma Wlostowski. Emma is a sophomore on the Girls Varsity Volleyball team. She started on the girls team last year, her freshman year. Emma plays year-round volleyball, because of this her on-court awareness is superb, as well as her read and reaction time. As a volleyball player Emma is very consistent in her play, a fantastic server, an amazing defender, and an all-around good player. Academically Emma is a straight A student. As an Alden High School student she does a great job balancing both academics and athletics making her the perfect candidate  for player spotlight.
