Emily has been on the Varsity Rifle Team for 5 years. Over the course of those 5 years, Emily has improved so much that she has earned the title of Co-Captain this year on the team, which also makes her one of Alden’s top shooters this season. Mr. Eggink stated that Emily has such a positive impact on the team, and always encourages the younger athletes to do better. Some good qualities of Emily would have to be her constant strive to do her best, she would always try to improve at something no matter what. Emily’s willingness to not only improve for herself, but for her team earned her a this week’s player spotlight recognition.
