On Friday, October 5th, the Boys Varsity Soccer team competed against the Eden Raiders. In a very competitive, back and forth game, the Bulldogs came out on top with a 3-2 win in overtime. The team is led by Coach Allen Turton and senior captains Chase Eastland, Justin Evoy, and Ashton Wilson. Austin Avino scored two goals, assisted by Chase Easland and Ashton Wilson, including the overtime winner. Brandon Turnbull also contributed to the win with one goal, assisted by Cole Kissell. Goalie Justin Evoy also fought a hard game in net, saving all but two shots. There was a very full section of student supporters, who fought through the cold and the wind, to support their boys.

The boys played and fought very hard during the game for a great result in the end. Their love for the game of soccer really showed this season as they ended the regular season with a record of 10-6-1, finishing out their regular season with six consecutive wins.

The seniors on the team include Austin Avino, Alex Biniewski, Tony Czerniak, Chase Eastland, Jeremy Evoy, Justin Evoy, Lucas Jurek, Quinn Keller, David Menzies, Brandon Turnbull, and Ashton Wilson. This past week the boys played a game, against Newfane to determine whether they were going on to compete in sectionals in the following few weeks. However, they were unable to beat their opponent and will not be continuing onto the sectional competition. Good luck to all the seniors in their future endeavors and great job this season boys!
