Campbell Jones, a senior at Alden High School, brings energy, creativity, and heart to everything she does. Known for her love of theater and involvement in a wide range of school activities, Campbell embodies the spirit of a well-rounded student who’s passionate about learning and connecting with others.

A dedicated performer, Campbell has been featured in several stage productions, including The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, The Outsiders, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Her favorite performance to date was playing the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, a role she took on through Alden’s summer recreation program. “That show was so much fun,” Campbell shares. “I think it really sparked my love for performing.”

Outside of theater, Campbell is deeply involved in Alden’s extracurricular community. She participates in Friends of Rachel, Theater Club, Cooking Club, Prism, and more. She’s also a proud member of organizations like Friends of the Planet, Model UN, and Atlas, all of which allow her to explore different interests and connect with her peers.

When she’s not on stage or at club meetings, Campbell enjoys spending time with her pets—two dogs, Stella and Maggie, and a cat named Willow. She also loves English class, calling it her favorite subject.

Currently, Campbell is most excited about her role as Sodapop Curtis in The Outsiders. “I’ve been looking forward to it all summer,” she says. “Sodapop is the middle Curtis brother—he’s a little bit goofy, but he really cares about his family, and that’s what I love about him.”

In addition to her work on stage, Campbell has also taken an interest in video production. One of her proudest accomplishments is a behind-the-scenes video she created for A Midsummer Night’s Dream. “It was my first video ever, and I was really proud of how it turned out,” she recalls.

With her passion for performance, leadership in student clubs, and love for storytelling, Campbell Jones continues to make her mark at Alden High School. As she prepares for graduation, there’s no doubt that her creativity and enthusiasm will continue to shine wherever her next adventure takes her.
