Kaitlyn Watson is a junior at Alden High School who stays busy balancing sports, clubs, and time with friends. She plays both volleyball and basketball and says some of her favorite memories come from the friendships she’s made along the way. “A lot of my closest friendships have been made through volleyball or even other sports,” she explains. “I really like the team bonding on the bus after wins — that’s probably my favorite part.”

Outside of sports, Kaitlyn is very involved in school clubs. She participates in the Alden Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition, S.A.D., and the Athletic Association, keeping her plate full while giving back to her school and community. “My proudest accomplishment would probably be just keeping my plate full,” she says. “I’m always in clubs, working sports — I always have a bunch of stuff going on.”

When she’s not at school or on the court, Kaitlyn enjoys hanging out with her friends. After high school, she hopes to travel the world, exploring new places and cultures.

At home, Kaitlyn shares her life with two older brothers, two dogs, and two cats, making for a lively household. Between sports, school, and family, Kaitlyn Watson demonstrates dedication, balance, and a love for the people around her.
