Keaton Zaleski is a junior at Alden High School who brings a lively energy to everything he does, from theater productions to his role as a host on WACS Daily. Known for his love of acting and his engaging personality, Keaton thrives in creative environments and enjoys spending time with his friends. His involvement in both WACS and theater has made him a familiar face around the school.
When it comes to academics, Keaton has a clear favorite: math. “It’s my favorite subject,” he shares enthusiastically. His future plans reflect his thoughtful consideration, as he aims to become a nurse practitioner specializing in dermatology, a career he’s carefully chosen after much reflection.
Keaton’s love for WACS is evident, especially through his passion for hosting WACS Daily. “I’ve always wanted to be on the news because I’m a little special child,” he jokes. In addition to his work on WACS Daily, Keaton is excited about his new project, “WACS Games,” a show he created and absolutely loves. His creativity and enthusiasm shine through in everything he does.
In the world of theater, Keaton has taken on a variety of roles, with “Fiddler on the Roof” and “The Addams Family” standing out as two of his favorite productions. While “Fiddler” had a more somber tone, “The Addams Family” wins as his top choice for its fun and lively nature. “I just like acting. It’s always been fun for me,” he says, unable to pinpoint exactly why it captivates him so much.
One of Keaton’s most memorable moments was dressing up as Mr. Monopoly, complete with a bald cap and white mustache, for the school float. His humor, creativity, and quick wit make him stand out, and he describes himself as “funny, creative, and smart”—three words that perfectly capture his personality.
Keaton Zaleski is a dynamic and talented student whose love for performing and bright personality have left a lasting impression at Alden High School, and his future is sure to be just as vibrant.
