Max McCarthy is a sophomore at Alden High School who stays busy with sports. “Some of the sports I’m in are football and wrestling,” he says. He also hopes to return to soccer soon, a sport he used to play.

Some of Max’s favorite memories come from his time on the field. “Last year, JV against Akron, our first home win — it was one of my friend’s birthdays too, so we all got cake after that game. Coach was fired up. It was a great win,” he recalls.

Looking ahead, Max isn’t sure which path he’ll take after high school. “I’d like to go to college, maybe law school, or I might enlist,” he says.

Between his dedication to sports and his future plans, Max McCarthy shows he’s focused, motivated, and ready for whatever comes next.
