The Springs sports season has just started practices with the Varsity Track, Tennis, Baseball, and Softball teams warming up for their respective seasons. The Varsity Softball team is looking to continue you their annual success this spring. Led by Coach Kryszczuk, the Bulldogs softball team has always been a huge success especially in recent time winning 2 division titles in the last 4 years. However, the team lost critical seniors last year in Brittney Jordan, Sara Pasternack, and Jenna Wlostowski. The young bulldogs team is lead by senior captains Emma Diebel, Maddy Gadd, and Junior Cassidy Funk. The softball team finished 8-4. The lady bulldogs are hoping to build off of last years successful season into a possibly division championship this year.

The top players include Maddy Gadd, Emma Diebel, Emma Lux, Emma Wlostowski and Cassidy Funk. Maddy plays first base and is a 3 year starter on the team and is returning from a knee injruy that made her miss some of the previous season. Emma Diebel is the teams pitcher but will miss a couple of games to start the game with a hand injury suffered previously. Emma Lux is the teams center fielder and also 3 year started. Coach Kryszczuk has very fond memories of Emma throwing out girls at home last year. Emma Wlostowski plays second base and shortstop but is currently the teams pitcher with the Emma Diebels injury. Cassidy Funk is a great utility player that can be put in the infield, outfield, and can also pitch as well.
