Alden State Bank Donates New Score Board
With school spirit in full swing, a new score board adds to the excitement.
October 16, 2015
On September 3rd, the Alden CSD Board of Education approved to accept the $23,600 donation from the Alden State Bank to purchase a new sports scoreboard. The scoreboard is positioned in the same spot that the previous score board was positioned.
This new scoreboard will benefit both the football and track teams as well the soccer teams when they play their annual “under the lights” games.
The new scoreboard is a tremendous upgrade for the previous scoreboard. It is now equipped with a digital team name slot which allows for the team names to be digital for both the home and away teams, a step up for the generic home and away label. In addition, the speakers on the scoreboard are now four times louder than the previous speakers that were positioned around the field.
Alden sports teams proudly thank the Alden State Bank for their generous donation and look forward to playing underneath the new scoreboard.

This donation was very generous from the Alden State Bank. Its nice that the scoreboard has speakers built into it instead of having the speakers around the field. I like that it is four times as louder than the older scoreboard.

Nice up to date coverage on this! What a great addition that this is to our athletic program. We were able to use it already at last night’s JV football game and will continue using it through this weekend for the Bulldog Stampede and the remainder of our fall sporting events held at the stadium complex.
