Its a new month again which means that students are being recognized for their outstanding effort in the classroom. Each month a group of students that rise above the standard, and stand out among their peers are recognized.  These students have rose to the occasion and are proudly named the students of the month for October.

This month a new category has been added to our student of the month perks. Creative thinking allows for students to get savvy with their work and let their mind roam around different thoughts and ideas.

The first Student of the Month for Creative Thinking is Madysen E. Madysen has really embraced the new class in Alden. She has shown here creative ideas and taken opportunities to be creative every chance she gets.

Gabby C. was the student of the Month for Spanish. She demonstrates a very pleasant, focused and hardworking personality in class. Gabby often volunteers, participates in games, and consistently does her homework efficiently and to the best of her ability.

Victoria A. is an extremely hard worker in Health.  She is always prepared and polite in class despite being the only senior in her class. She is a great leader and is always willing to lend a helping hand for her fellow classmates. Mr. Casillo said, “Victoria is a prime example of a leader and exemplifies more of a role as teacher assistant in the class than a student”.

Jill P. is a student in Mrs. Kaderli’s Global History class. She is a diligent student, who complete her assignments on time, and displays a strong effort to learn and master the Global History II content.  Jill exhibits excellent behavior inside the classroom and is respectful to both students and staff.

Ali A. is a senior who is currently taking AP Art Workshop.  Ali was proudly recognized for the artwork she submitted to the Erie County Fair this past summer. She was honored with two awards for her work.  Ali always puts forth positive energy in her work and is a pleasure to have in class.
