Preview: Alden’s Ninth Annual Halloween Spooktacular
Are you looking for some spooky Halloween fun? The Alden Substance Abuse Coalition is holding its ninth annual Halloween Spooktacular on Oct. 28 and 29. The Spooktacular will be full of fun activities for kids as well as adults.
On October 28 and 29, the Halloween Spooktacular will take place in the Town Park. The event will feature a haunted trail in the Joe Panza Nature Trail from 6-8 on Friday and Saturday. There will also be Trunk or Treat in the park from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday. The Coalition offers this opportunity for family-friendly fun to show their support and give back to the community of Alden.
“By doing big events like this, it really brings forth that we’re there if you need help or if you need to talk to somebody,” said AHS junior Alex Lysiak, Alden Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition Youth Ambassador.
“I know Trunk or Treat is a lot of fun, but I do really like the haunted trail,” said Alden High School technology teacher and robotics coach Mrs. Buell. “There’s always something different and everybody gets to be really creative.”
