As fall sports have recently come to a close, I decided to sit down with four seniors—Layne Jaworciz, Taylor LaVarnway, Enzo Riccione and Sylvia White—to ask how they felt about the last fall season of their high school athletic careers.
“It’s definitely a weird feeling. I don’t know how to describe it,” said senior Layne Jaworowicz, quarterback and captain of the varsity football team. “I don’t really think there is any word to describe it.”
As the school year is still fresh and people still getting into the swing of things, the fall sports athletes have already have had to goodbye to one major part of senior year, the first of many goodbyes for the class of 2023.
