The Alden High School Art Club recently visited the Albright-Knox-Gundlach (AKG) Art Museum in Buffalo, exploring a diverse collection of artwork spanning centuries. From historic masterpieces to contemporary installations, students had the chance to experience art up close, including rare original Picasso paintings from a private collection.
The trip also introduced students to High ZZ, an exhibit showcasing artists who have contributed to Buffalo’s public art scene, and the upcoming Lay Back video art installation. With each visit offering a fresh perspective, the AKG continues to be an inspiring destination for young artists looking to immerse themselves in creativity and culture.
