THIS FRIDAY: Senior Citizens’ Prom
April 19, 2016
The National Honor Society will be hosting the annual Senior Citizens’ prom on Friday April 22nd from 6:00 to 9:00 PM in the cafeteria. It will be a great chance for older people of the Alden community to experience an evening of great music, dancing, socializing, and refreshments. This year, there will be a Luau/Hawaiian theme.
Attendees can look forward to performances by the Middle School and High School Jazz Bands. In addition, a DJ will be providing all the hits from back in the day for seniors to dance or just to enjoy while chatting amongst their fellow elders. There will also be props available for prom photo opportunities. It is expected that there will be even more participants than last year, making for a successful night.
If you or someone you know would like to attend, RSVPs can be made by calling Miss Ziegler or by filling out the form available in the High School main office as well as in the Alden senior center. RSVP’s aren’t required though, and people are welcome to show up that night to attend.

What a great opportunity for the older people of the Alden community. It’s also nice that the middle school jazz band had the chance to get involved with this. It seems like it will be a very nice night!
