On Friday May 6th, Alden’s food service staff from across the district put on their capes (and aprons) to celebrate their inner superheroes. Lunch ladies from the Middle school dressed in tie dye to become Lunch Hero Peace Makers. Teachers and administrators from the Primary, Middle, and High Schools also joined in on the fun by volunteering to serve food to students.

Alden participates in the annual Lunch Superhero Day on the first Friday in May. The goal is to show appreciation for all of the hardworking people who make food, serve nutritional meals, and monitor cafeterias for hundreds of students everyday. It encourages everyone to show the cafeteria and kitchen staff the gratitude they deserve.
