Savannah Warner Commits to Daemen
November 14, 2016
On November 9th, Savannah Warner officially made an early decision to run track for Daemen College. Savannah has been part of Varsity Cross Country and Track teams since she was in 8th grade and shows every year why she deserves to be part of Varsity. Some of her accomplishments include being one of the youngest competitors on the team to become a senior captain, leader, and someone to count on. Savannah unfortunately missed states in her senior year of Cross Country but made an impressive run only being behind five people. Savannah now takes her focus into her off-season training. Savannah also takes part in dance, weight lifting, and her talents don’t stop there. She is even renowned for her ability to swim at a competitive level. Savannah is also a 2 time athlete of the week for Alden, and 5 time scholar athlete with 2 more coming on the way towards the end of senior year.
Savannah is very thankful for the coaching that Mr. Carll has been able to provide her for the last 5 years and wants to thank her parents for supporting her journey to Daemen College.
Mr. Carll is going to miss his senior captain and leader as she goes on to bigger and better things at Daemen College. Savannah is going for her bachelors degree and hopes to major in physical therapy. Good luck to Savannah, make the best out of the rest of your senior year and best of luck at Daemen College.
