Alden Introduces Brand New Late Show
December 2, 2016
Alden High School has been up to a lot this year, and WACS News has been here to bring it all to you. Most recently, Alden’s Digital Media Club introduced a wonderful new idea, Alden’s own ‘Late Show’. You’ve likely seen shows like this before, such as The Late Show with Jimmy Kimmel or Jimmy Fallon. Alden managed to capture the humor and atmosphere of these TV Shows and brought it to their own platform by using their own tech crew, performers and writers here at Alden.
The main motive of Alden’s Late Show is to provide a different type of format instead of the typical news format, but still manages to be entertaining as well as informative to all citizens, students and teachers around Alden. The show will be hosted by senior, Dylan Kiener, and will host teachers and the school’s musicians, as well as other special guests from around Alden. Alden’s first show hosted three guests; teachers Mrs. Chaves, Mr. Domino, along with musical guest Tipping Cows, led by Jenna Rutowski. Alden’s Digital Media Club’s advisor, Mr. Matt Masci, had a seat with WACS News to further explain the awesome new show that has launched from the school.
There’s more to expect as well, as Alden hopes to keep up this Late Show Routine at least once a month along as come out with Holiday themed episodes. You can check out the show at wacs.aldenschools.org, along as follow WACS News on Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat to keep up with all things Alden.
