This past weekend the Alden State Bank hosted the Tip-Off Tournament. The girls played two games over the weekend, losing their first and winning their second game.

On Friday, the girls hosted Akron. Overall it was a hard fought game. Anne Kocher led the team with 13 points and Cookie Altieri contributed 11 points of her own. Despite the efforts of Alden’s girls, Akron came out on top with a 45-38 victory.

Coach Delzer and the girls bounced back very well by finishing their weekend with a win. The girls came out on top against Pembroke with a 39-24 victory.
