Corinne Bishop, known to many as Chach, is a senior at Alden High School who embodies dedication and leadership. Now in her second year with WACS, she has taken on the role of editor-in-chief, guiding the team with creativity and precision. Her contributions have been instrumental in shaping WACS’ growth and success, making her an essential part of Alden High School’s student life.
Beyond her work with WACS, Corinne’s leadership extends across campus. She serves as the president of Key Club, actively participates in the Donate Blood Club, and is an accomplished athlete, playing varsity volleyball and participating in track and field. Her involvement in sports has helped her develop a strong sense of teamwork and enriched her high school experience. “I think sports have made me more of a team player overall,” Corinne shares. “It has definitely helped me build friendships and create a good environment within the team.”
Academically, Corinne stands out as a math enthusiast. Her passion for math is guiding her future plans, as she aims to pursue accounting or business in college. “I’ve always had a natural interest in math and have done well in it throughout school,” she explains. “I really like my stats class because I know that I’m going to do stuff with it in the future,” she adds, reflecting on her career goals.
