The the National Technical Honor Society recognizes outstanding career and technical students of workforce vocational educational institutions in the United States. Micah Barrett is among 12 to be inducted this year.

“You have to be a leader in your class,” Barrett said. “You have to really put forward that effort when you are there.”

The students then have something powerful to put on their resume and they can also use on their college applications.
