The ACTS Rising Stars kicked off their 2022-2023 season with a wickedly fun performance during Alden’s annual Halloween Spooktacular. Family, friends, and community members gathered in the park to watch the spooky performance.

The Rising Stars met weekly leading up to the weekend of the Halloween Spooktacular to rehearse their witchy song and dance. The performance was set to take place outside of the Haunted Trail to entertain guests while they waited to enter the attraction.

“It’s just to generate a lot of fun with the crowd,” said Lori Gramza, director of the Rising Stars program. When asked to describe the Spooktacular performance in three words, Rising Stars member Haley McAuley said, “Spooky, wormy, and squiggly.”
