This week, Alden High School proudly recognizes two exceptional athletes for their outstanding performances in their sports.
Teddy Pastuszynski (Unified Bowling)
Teddy Pastuszynski started the season strong, with strikes in each match he bowled. His top score of 105 was due to 2 strikes within one game. Teddy’s sportsmanship and team spirit are greatly appreciated, and he is a team player who is always in support of those around him.
-Marybeth Marko, Unified Varsity Bowling Coach
Brianna Brunner (Varsity Basketball)
Brianna Brunner is playing the best basketball of her career so far this season. Bre was one of the biggest reasons the Bulldogs won 3-4 games last week. Her hot three-point shooting and her defensive play helped the Bulldogs to victory over Cleveland Hill, Cheektowaga, and City Honors. Bre is currently leading the program in made three-pointers with (24), second in scoring with (93) points, and third in rebounding with (72). Great work, Bre! Good luck the rest of the season.
-Kevin Shadle & Kevin Baumann, Varsity Girls Basketball Coaches
Congratulations to Teddy and Bre for their remarkable achievements and leadership. Keep up the great work, Bulldogs!
