Alden High School’s Technical Career Day brought career exploration to life, giving students the chance to engage with local professionals, try out firefighting equipment, operate construction gear, and attend panels like “Women in STEM.” From free T-shirts to fire hoses, the day blended fun with real-world insight.
With booths from companies like Buffalo Construction and M/E Engineering, students explored careers in trades and technology while getting inspired by hands-on experiences and expert advice. As one student put it, “If it wasn’t for technical career day, I would have never done that.”
