In high school, Rayahna Tryka was involved in varsity cross country, National Honor Society, yearbook club, varsity track and field, student congress, and Alden High School theatrical productions. She began reporting for WACS during her sophomore year and eventually became the publisher, the highest student leadership role at the station. In 2022, she was awarded the senior superlative for Most Involved, recognizing her dedication and leadership.

Now attending Ithaca College, Rayahna manages social media accounts for women’s basketball, women’s lacrosse, field hockey, and football. She is majoring in sports media with minors in communication management and design and marketing. She frequently hosts media days that allow athletes to express themselves. This semester, Rayahna is spending time in Los Angeles through Ithaca College’s program, where she is interning with Fox Sports in their original programming department.
