Alden students are making their voices heard—one billboard at a time. Through the Alden Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition’s annual Billboard Contest, teens turn powerful messages about staying substance-free into bold designs displayed on Broadway. With this year’s theme, “Your future is key. Stay substance-free,” student artists used their creativity to raise awareness and inspire change. Congratulations to this year’s winners: Corinne Bishop (1st place), Paige Mertz (2nd place), Hailey Mederski (3rd place), Riley Wood (Fan Favorite), and Gwen Krieb (Faculty Favorite). Hear from the winners and learn how this contest empowers young people to make a difference in their community.
