Girls soccer moved into first place in its division.
On today’s show:
- Girls varsity soccer beat division leader Holland 3-2 to take over first place. Ava Schmitt scored all three goals, and Emma Casillo assisted on two of them. Casillo is now tied for Alden’s all-time assist record.
- JV volleyball swept Lake Shore. The next home game is Sept. 28 at 5 p.m. against Eden.

- The PSAT sign-up deadline has been extended to Friday, Sept. 18.
- The Youth Against Cancer meeting has been moved to Friday, Sept. 18.

- Seniors with English second semester: Guidance meeting today in the DLL during advisement.
- Powderpuff boys cheer sign-ups go out by email Monday, Sept. 21. There are five spots per grade.
- Picture day is Wednesday, Sept. 23.
