This week’s nominations for Athletes of the week are Noah Fox and Mekenna Wilson.

Noah is a four year veteran of the Varsity Rifle team. He is a top shooter in  Erie County, Section 6, and the State, holding records in air rifle, the prone position, kneeling, and overall. As team captain, Noah has lead his team to a near perfect season. Firing at Clarence on January 6, Noah proved his marksmanship. He fired a total score of 288. The team went on to beat Clearance 1114 to 1038. Noah continues to smash old records, many of them set by himself earlier in his career. Earlier this week, Noah was named Super 7 Athlete of the Week.

Mekenna Wilson, our other Athlete of the Week, is a Junior on the Varsity Cheerleading team. As a team captain, she plays a pivotal role in the team’s performance. She is known to have an optimistic personality, a helpful attitude and a great work ethic.
