On Thursday May 12, the varsity boy’s baseball team hosted Tonawanda for Alden’s senior night. The game against Tonawanda was a big game as the boys had recently lost to Tonawanda last time. This game was very important due to the boys playing for the division title. Justin Daucher had 4 hits and 2 runs batted, Jordan Stockweather had 3 hits and Bryan Cybulski had 2 hits and 2 runs batted in. This was a team win as defense also played a big part in the game. The team defeated Tonawanda 10-8 to claim the division. The boy’s varsity baseball team shares the ECIC 4 division title with Eden; this is the first title since 2009. Playoffs for the boys start this week.
